As we draw closer to starting a new academic year of midday workshops, I wanted to take the opportunity to reflect on our very first Visual Arts Summer Course. During July a group of young people participated in our daily workshops, led out of our inspirational art studio. They experimented with a diverse range of materials and techniques and at the end of the course each ‘artist’ had an ecclectic portfolio of work to take home. Above all, we had lots of fun and made new friends. It went so well that we look forward to repeating the summer course again in 2017. We hope to see you there!
A medida que nos acercamos al comienzo de los nuevos talleres, quería aprovechar la oportunidad para reflexionar sobre nuestro primer Curso de Verano. Durante julio, un grupo de jóvenes participaron en nuestros talleres diarios, impartido en nuestro propio estudio de arte. Experimentaron con una amplia gama de materiales y técnicas y al final del curso cada «artista» tenía un portafolio ecléctica de trabajo para llevar a casa. Además nos divertimos un monton y he hicimos nuevos amigos. Como ha sido un exito lo repetiremos en el año de 2017. ¡Esperamos veros ahí!
